Kalpana Patel Kalpana is a strong community leader currently serving on several non-profit the Boards including - Grounds For Sculpture, Young Audiences of NJ and Eastern PA (Co-Chair of Development Committee), South Jersey Chapter of National Association Of women Business Owners (Co-Director DEI&B) and New Jersey State Museum Foundation. She is also President-elect for the Rotary Club of Robbinsville-Hamilton, and President-elect at the mid-NJ chapter of the Association of Talent Development (mid-NJ ATD).
Kalpana’s passion for serving the community, is well demonstrated through her work with the Rotary Club of Robbinsville Hamilton. She has been an active member since 2020, and has been fully engaged, in her strive for service above self. She has served as the Rotary Foundation Chair for her Club, is the current Chair of the membership committee and has led a few ad-hoc committees such as for community service legacy awards and a committee for Women In Rotary. She is excited, and looks forward to serving as the President in the upcoming Rotary year, which also happens to be the 30th Anniversary year for the club.
Kalpana is a seasoned business leader, operations management consultant, executive leadership coach and founder of Excellence Management Consulting, LLC, a management consulting firm, specializing in helping business leaders realize their vision, and enable organizational growth.
Enriched with a successful 40 year career in executive leadership roles, she has demonstrated success in building strategies for growth and profitability, organizational development, succession planning and best practices for operations management. She has built enterprise-wide best practices, working with startup and fortune 500 companies, collaborating with the C-suite of leadership in a variety of industry verticals, including Telecommunications (working for the Bell System and few incumbents), Global Banking, Cyber-Security and Educational Assessment. Kalpana is known for her demonstrated success in strategic organizational building and operations management with a flair for leadership development.
After retiring from her corporate career, Kalpana has continued her passion for operations management and leadership development through her consulting services and philanthropy work, serving as a board member for several non-profit organizations.
Kalpana earned a Masters in Solid State Physics from Osmania University, India and has taught college physics early in her career. She also holds a Masters in Computer and Information Sciences from NJIT, Newark. She is also a certified leadership coach, speaker and trainer.
She lives in Princeton Junction, NJ with her husband of 44 years. They have one daughter who is a practicing cardiologist in Mercer/Middlesex/Monmouth Counties.
